Where to begin with baby Elena…First, she is my niece, so I’m super excited about having a new baby in the family! Oh yeah! Then I can get my baby fix without actually having to do all the nitty gritty new parent stuff — um, like, not sleeping! (But best of luck to my sis though.) ;) Second, she was born 3 1/2 weeks early, so she’s been giving our family a run for our money from the get-go. (I’m predicting this to be an indicator of some potential strong personality traits to come! Best of luck again.) Third, she is the most precious, sweetest, most delicate little bundle of goodness ever to grace this earth. (Biased? Noooooo. Not at all.) Born 4.1 pounds, she was the perfect tiny little package, and I…well, we could not love her more. Much congratulations to new mom and dad, Briana and John!!
