A Classic Glen Manor House Wedding
Glen Manor was the perfect setting for Emilia and David’s elegant outdoor spring wedding. While they absolutely maintained the look of a classic, regal couple enhanced by the backdrop of an exquisite mansion, adding some unique elements to their wedding atmosphere provided a modern, fresh touch to their day. David’s “groomsmen” were a combination of both men and women, because gender need not be a barrier to who stands up for you. The couple’s chosen readers were encouraged to select readings on their own, and read them during the ceremony for the very first time as a surprise to the bride and groom! In addition, rather than opt for the traditional bouquet/garter toss, they planned a gender neutral bouquet and boutonniere toss to everyone. Even something as simple as eliminating a first dance was a preference for Emilia and David because they do not like all of that focus and attention on them! By incorporating all these small yet personal details, they were able to enjoy their wedding day with family and friends in a way that was special and meaningful to them.
