Back in December, my good friend and fellow photographer Janet of JLPhotografia and I collaborated on some mini family portraits with the intention of donating the proceeds to Rebuild Recover, an organization established to collect contributions for those in need that were affected by Hurricane Sandy. Janet is a native New Jerseyan, so her motivation for initiating these shoots were quite personal. Plus she’s a really good person too! And when she approached me to shoot with her, I did not hesitate to come on board. As photographers, we are so lucky to have a job that we inherently love. So when an opportunity comes along that allows us to give back to the community in some way, shape or form, I think that, collectively, as photographers, we jump at the chance. And we did!
Here is part one from our two day shoot. (Side note: they are in no particular order….well, except alphabetical, so I guess I lied!)
Cortesi Family
Ferreira Family
Gill Family
Our shoot was so easygoing with results that we love and have shared as gifts to our extended family. Thank you again for your beautiful work, Lisa!
