This Narragansett RI family portrait was a bit of a whirlwind experience! I met up with Alicia’s family last July at Roger Wheeler for their session at the beach and when I arrived, it was……FOGGY. And even that is a bit of an understatement. Like so foggy that you could barely see the ocean. On the beach. Barely. But they were all in at this point and we persevered – and actually got some lovely images despite the weather conditions. That is…until it became increasingly misty, and we were all just….damp. And soggy. And wet. Looking back, it was kind of funny how crazy the weather was!
And because I am sure that’s not what Alicia had planned for her session, I offered her a bit of a “do-over” – which is why half the session is in one drizzly location, and the other is in a sunny….and, well, windy location. I tell you, the universe was not letting us off scot free, that’s for sure! But again, we pressed on, and got a lot of other fun and much less water-logged photos. Until some people splashed in the ocean! But that was a choice haha!
Happy family reunion to Alicia and her family! Thanks for being such troopers!
