Scarborough Beach Family Portrait

This Scarborough Beach family portrait was scheduled a few days after the last one (last July), so I was naturally skeptical about the weather! Luckily for Emily and her family, the fog was a distant memory, and we had nothing but the sun, sand, and sea at our disposal. With two young kids in tow, they were clearly eager to play on the beach – which I am all for, if I must say! My goal is to get a few conventional portraits that mom and dad can put in a picture frame or hang on the wall, but once that is accomplished – be free, children!

After grabbing some traditional images of the family members and the kids, everyone was encouraged to run around on the beach or come to me for any additional photos they wanted, traditional or not!
