In an era where social media is king and everyone seems to be trying to outdo the next with elaborate décor, TikTok trends, and Instagram reels, it can be incredibly refreshing to be part of a wedding that centers on what love and marriage have always been about: two people who truly want to spend their lives together in the richest, most genuine way. Stacey and Geoff’s Galilee Beach Club wedding was a beautiful example of exactly that.
The day began with Stacey getting ready alongside her closest entourage—her daughters, sister, and niece. The atmosphere was serene and quietly anticipatory, each moment naturally leading into the next with a sense of calm and intention. Side note: is it just me, or does one of her daughters bear a striking resemblance to actress Joey King? Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. Trust me.
Stacey and Geoff shared a First Look and portraits before the ceremony, and it was about as heartfelt and romantic as it gets. Their joy was unmistakable, and the admiration and affection they have for one another was evident in every interaction – the kind of devotion that’s impossible not to admire. Soon after, they exchanged vows during a beautiful ceremony on the beach, with their niece and nephew entrusted with the special job of delivering the rings to them at the head of the aisle.
While guests mingled by the tiki bar, Stacey and Geoff slipped away for a quiet moment together following the ceremony. But what may have been my favorite part of the reception was their first dance…..right there on the sand. Surrounded by family and friends, they shared their first dance as a married couple while the golden sun filtered through wispy clouds, casting a soft halo of light around them as they slowly swayed together. My heart 🥹
After cocktail hour, dinner, toasts, and dessert moved inside, but the celebration didn’t stay there for long. Once that portion of the evening wrapped up, everyone returned outside to continue the reception beneath the night sky. It was October in New England, which meant the air had a definite chill, but guests were treated to plush blankets, delicious s’mores, and a cozy fire to gather around. And of course, the dance floor in the sand was open to anyone who was game.
Taking full advantage of the outdoor space throughout the evening is one of the best ways to experience everything the Galilee Beach Club has to offer. With a waterfront setting this stunning, it’s hard to imagine a better backdrop for a celebration – no matter the season.
At the end of the day, Stacey and Geoff’s wedding was simply about love, family, and celebrating a new beginning together….and honestly, that’s the kind of wedding that never goes out of style. It was such a joy to capture their day at the Galilee Beach Club, from quiet moments by the water to dancing under the stars.
