Liz and TJ wanted a little bit of everything for their engagement session — beach vibes, spring blooms, waterfront views, and park scenery. Luckily for them, I knew just the spot that could deliver all of it! Their spring engagement session at Goddard Park had all the variety they were hoping for, without needing to bounce between an inland park and the coastline. (The Rhode Island mentality at its finest.) Good old reliable Goddard Park coming in clutch 😉
Even though we officially met at their session, Liz and TJ immediately felt so easy to be around — friendly, sweet, and so easy-going. And honestly, I think that energy shines through in their photos. THEY claimed they might be awkward (who doesn’t say that these days? 😂), but all I saw was how genuinely happy and in love they are….and that always photographs effortlessly.
We also could not have timed this session more perfectly for spring blossoms. One particular spot in the park has the dreamiest pink flowering trees, and they were absolutely showing off that evening. To make things even better, the weather gave us soft overcast skies with just a tiny peek of sunset light breaking through at the end. Naturally, we made a quick run to the boat launch area to soak up those final golden moments. (Seriously, this park is basically the Swiss Army knife of Rhode Island photo locations haha.)
Beach? Check.
Blooming trees? Check.
Sunset on the dock? Check.
An incredibly sweet and fun couple? Big check ✅
I’m already so excited for their wedding this fall at Chamberlain Farm!
