Scarborough Beach Family Portrait

Family portraits at the beach have been a running theme for me this year…and trust me, I’m not complaining! Working at the beach is a win-win! So of course I was more than happy to meet up with the Beecher family at Scarborough State Beach this summer for an extended family portrait session while they were on vacation here in RI. The little guys were full of energy and spirit, and gave me a lot of material to work with! You can never go wrong with the casual, nautical atmosphere for a family session. No shoes, sand between your toes, the ocean behind you…what could be better? Perhaps the promise of ice cream for some good behavior? Hmmm, I sense another running theme here yet again ;) Maybe because it works! Haha. The Beechers are a charming and friendly crew, with winning smiles and adorable kids, some who loooooove the camera, which is something I am ALWAYS on board with! Give me a kid who mugs for the camera any day! Me, I have a thirteen year old who is SO. OVER. IT. Lol. I really enjoyed photographing this sweet and delightful family, and sincerely hope they had a lovely vacation!
