An Elegant Glen Manor House Wedding

Chris and Su’s celebration genuinely resembles a traditional wedding ceremony. However, what’s unique about their day is that this particular wedding event is actually a renewal of vows, specifically geared towards celebrating with their American family and friends. Previous to this occasion, they had two other ceremonies, in Singapore and Myanmar, to commemorate with Su’s family. Their sun kissed and unexpectedly mild November day began with couple portraits of just the two of them. Their past marriage occasions did not focus very much on wedding images, so spending time together being photographed alone was very important to them. The landscape at Glen Manor has endless photographic opportunity, and we explored much of the beautiful scenery. From back lit foliage to the oceanfront dock (and everything in between), Chris and Su shared moments of sweet and tender glances, affectionate embraces, and even bust your gut laughter — most likely because Janet and I are pretty amusing and fun to be around. Ha!

Keeping the focus on the two of them, they entered their ceremony together, perhaps symbolically, and walked down the aisle side by side. Such a beautiful representation of their implicit unity. The rest of the gathering was as expected, featuring a lovely outdoor cocktail hour with lots of mingling, a signature cocktail and tasty appetizers, followed by dinner and dancing. Oh yes…lots of exuberant dancing!

Side note: the two exquisite beaded dresses showcased here were handmade by the bride herself! Not only did she make both of her dresses, but she also made the dresses worn by her mother and her sister! Mind blown!! How amazing is that??

Much love and happiness to Chris and Su! Hooray for three ceremonies!
