The Rhode Island coast is always an ideal (and highly desirable) setting for photos and portraits—and if you’ve been here before, you probably won’t be surprised to hear that it’s where most of my sessions take place. ☺️ Liz and Kyle chose the Point Judith Fisherman’s Memorial Park for their Narragansett, RI maternity portrait session, and it was just lovely. This spot offers that quintessential Rhode Island beach vibe we all love, while still feeling intimate and tucked away, with sweeping ocean views that never disappoint.
On this particular evening, the weather was beautifully sunny—normally a sure thing for drawing locals and tourists to the shoreline. But this night came with a twist: a summer storm was brewing just offshore. The result? Extra dramatic surf, crashing waves, and lots of curious onlookers hoping to catch the show. You’d never know it from these images, but the crowds were impressive!
Liz, this glowing mom-to-be, also happens to be my cousin—so photographing this session felt especially meaningful. It’s always an honor to document such important milestones, but when family is involved, there’s an added layer of connection and heart. I photographed Liz and Kyle’s wedding at the Narragansett Towers a few years ago, so being able to continue capturing the next chapter of their story is truly a joy. Watching life unfold through my lens—especially for family—is one of the best parts of what I do.

Update on Liz +Kyle: since this session took place last summer, I am happy to announce that they are now proud parents of a beautiful baby boy born late last fall!
Whether you’re visiting or local, I would love to document your family’s story too—reach out to start planning your session.
